All of our timber frame buildings are bespoke manufactured using tried and tested traditional jointed techniques. Typically most of these structures are built using construction grade greek oak, either QP1 or QPA grade. Green oak has usually been air dried for 3-6 months so will continue to dry and crack after it has been fitted. This usually is not a problem as it adds to its rustic look and character. If a more honed perfect finish is required then a kiln dried and full treated timber may be more suitable.

You can choose from a variety of stair styles. We are able to produce an array of different styles including closed string, stepped string, open tread, floating and more.

Glass balustrading can allow light to flow freely with a less obstructive view. in recent years it has become an increasingly popular choice. You can choose to have the glass mounted on brackets or fitted directly into the base and hand rail. Alternatively spindles have been a popular option for hundreds of years. A spindle can be used to achieve both a traditional and modern look.
